An initiative that proves beauty can also be a stronghold for our planet. Since sprays no longer contain CFCs, hairdressers aren't exactly among the biggest polluters.
Nevertheless, the Fair Hairdressers want to transform all the cut hair into resources to save the planet: make hair recycling. Not in wigs, but in socks to fight against oil spills. One kilo of hair can absorb up to 8 kilos of oil! A natural filter that can be reused. All hairdressers have to do is pay a fee and fill the collection bag. 5000 French hairdressers are already participating.
